Virtual matchmaking event: “Bringing VALUE to AGROBIOMASS”

The AgroBioHeat project is organising a free virtual matchmaking event – Bringing Value to Agrobiomass – on February 10th – 11th, 2021. The aim is to facilitate cooperation on sustainable utilisation of biomass from agriculture and side streams from food production. Combustion of solid biofuels from olive tree prunings

Main interest of an Integrated Biomass Logistic Centre (IBLC) in the olive sector is the exploitation of olive prunings. Olive prunings are treated as agricultural residues and mostly burned in open fires or less frequently mulched into soil. However, they can be exploited in various ways and offer added value.
